FAAST is preparing an exciting and innovative 10 year programme of research on FASD in Scotland. Our overarching goals in conducting this research are to:
- Identify risk and protective factors related to an individual being affected by FASD
- Determine the prevalence of FASD in different populations within Scotland and develop a routine system within the NHS to identify at an early stage children who may be affected by FASD.
- Develop, evaluate and implement effective interventions and services informed by the latest research evidence
This page will be updated with more information as we launch individual studies so please check back in the future for further detail.
